Our mother, Iola Pearl Peck, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years young.

She was born June 16, 1923 to Louis Walter and Pearl Ivie Mecham, in Duchesne, Utah. She passed away October 30, 2017 at her home in Fruit Heights.

Iola was loving, generous, beautiful and strong. She was full of wisdom, which enriched all of our lives.

She married Floyd F. Peck on August 18, 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on June 27, 1987. They were blessed with two children: Sharien (Ken) Bosley and Dennis (Betty) Peck.

Iola and Floyd owned “Peck’s Models” in Ogden for 40 years. She was blessed with many talents including oil painting, making porcelain dolls and collecting antiques. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served at the Bountiful Temple. Her family meant the world to her.

Iola was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters, her husband, one child and one granddaughter. She is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street. Friends may visit with family Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
