Betty L. Willard, 72, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died Monday morning the 1st of May at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 12th, 1944 in Columbus, Georgia to Ernest and Helen (Tutherow) Pippin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Terry Lynn Mickel and three sisters.
Betty is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dan Willard of Bella Vista; two daughters, Dana Lawhorn of Phoenix City, AL, Tracy Rowell of Jacksonville, FL; three sons, Robert Patterson of Rogers, Arkansas, Daniel Willard of Huntsville, Arkansas, Thomas Willard of Gloucester, Virginia; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Laverne Preskitt, Edna Jenkins both of Alabama, Patricia Webster of Columbus, Georgia; and brother, Ernest Pippin Jr. of North Carolina.
A visitation and memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6th from 1-3 p.m. at Striffler Hamby Funeral Home, Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907.
