GARDNER — Virginia “Ginny” (Lazazzero) Rodgers, 54, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, October 13, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital of Worcester, following a brief illness.

Ginny was born in Marlborough, Mass. on August 19, 1963, the daughter of Modesto A. and Catherine V. (Coleman) Lazazzero.

She graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School of Marlborough with the Class of 1981.
Ginny was a Physical Therapy Assistant employed by Heywood Rehabilitation Center of Gardner for 16 years. She was previously employed by Heywood Hospital of Gardner for 10 years.

Ginny was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner. She was also a member of the Hubbardston Rod and Gun Club.
She loved going to Old Orchard Beach, Maine; and she treasured spending time with her family.

Ginny leaves her husband of thirty-one years, John F. Rodgers, of Gardner; one daughter, Elizabeth C. Rodgers of Gardner; one son, Patrick J. Rodgers of Gardner; five siblings, Arthur J. Lazazzero and his wife, Donna of Marlborough, Catherine E. Alera and her husband, David of Leominster; Joseph Lazazzero of Marlborough, Paul Lazazzero and his wife, Debbie of Marlborough, and Richard Lazazzero and his wife, Mardella of Leominster; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, 133 Wilson Street, Marlborough MA.
