John Augustus Parrott
, 16 years old, of Camarillo went to be with his “Papa” in heaven on August 26, 2017. John will be carried in the hearts of his family; parents Pat and Debbie, brother Kourey, grandmother Cherry, girlfriend Maddy Hood, and his many cousins, aunts, uncles, many friends. John lived his short life to the fullest, he embraced every day, every relationship and every opportunity to bring a smile to the people that needed it.

John was many things; whether you knew him as Little John, Big John, Big Bird, Big Brother, Little Brother, John John, friend, practical joker, fellow student, team mate, parishioner, son, grandson, or Explorer we hope you carry a piece of him in your hearts. Continue to spread his smile, kindness and zest for life through your own lives.

John attended Camarillo High School, was a pitcher on the baseball team, a graduate of the Ventura County Law Enforcement Explorer Academy, and an active member of the Camarillo Church of Christ.

The location for the celebration of John’s life on Saturday, September 2nd at 9:00 AM has been changed to Camarillo Community Church, 1322 Las Posas Rd., Camarillo. Graveside service will immediately follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in John’s name to the Camarillo Police Explorers, 3701 E. Las Posas Road, Camarillo, CA 93010.
