Joyce Rodgers, 74, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. The Ironton, Ohio native was born February 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Wayne and Edna Russell Moore. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Rodgers.
Joyce was a 1961 graduate of Ironton High School. She was employed at the Desco Federal Credit Union, after retiring she went to work at Central Christian Church in Ironton.

a niece: Laura Gallagher
She is survived by:
two brothers: Wayne Moore and James (Shirley) Moore
a sister: Betty (Daniel) Gallagher
a niece: Molly (Phillip) Snowden
nephews: Wesley (Teresa) Moore and John (Jennifer) Gallagher
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Central Christian Church, 1541 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Minister Willie Purdee officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the church. Phillips Funeral Home,1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio is assisting the family with the arrangements. To honor her mother, Joyce donated corneas to be transplanted.
