WELCHER James W. 77, of OKC, died Saturday at Mercy Health Center. He was born Nov. 27, 1906 in Tahoka, TX, the son of James W. & Florence Welcher. He had retired after 40 years service with the Mobil Oil Co. and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; his daughter, Jimmie Lee Davidson of OKC; a son-in-law, Bill Davidson of OKC; 2 sisters, Clifford Tennyson and Jacque Key, both of Ardmore; also 3 granddaughters, Connie Hancock of Dallas, TX, Karen Knowles and Kandi Davidson, both of OKC; 1 great-grandson, David Hancock of Dallas. Funeral service wil be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services to follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore at 3 pm. Arrangements with Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors.
