Jason Ray Morris, 36, of Madison, IN, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Norton Hospital after losing his battle with abdominal cancer.

He was born on October 19, 1981 to Christopher and Joyce (Asher) Morris in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was an Army Veteran, a machine operator for Ford Motor Company, a member of the House of Refuge Church in Nabb, IN, a member of the American Legion Post 9 in Madison, the Madison Masonic Lodge and also the Local 862 Riders for Hero’s.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Kenneth Box; grandmother, Sylvia Asher; grandfather, James Morris.

Survivors include his wife the former Mary McClellan; daughters, Kellie McClellan of Madison, IN, and Natalie Jester of Madison, IN; son, Aaron Bebout, Jr. of Madison, IN; mother, Joyce Box-Seal of Bethlehem, IN; father, Christopher Morris of Chapmansboro, TN; brother, Mark Morris of New Washington, IN; sister, Chrissy Morris-Haas of Ringo, GA; step-brothers, Jason Box of Lexington, IN, Jonathan Cain of Madison, IN, Alex Gooch of Salem, IN, and Gabriel Whitt of Charlestown, IN; step-sister, Carol Box of Jeffersonville, IN; grandparents, Linda & Robert Asher of Madison, IN, and Phyllis McNight of WV.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 12pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm, and after 11am on Wednesday. Masonic services will be held Tuesday night at 7:30pm.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
