Glen Wayne Wright, 73, of Findlay, passed away at 6:11 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville. Lockart-Green in Findlay is assisting the family.
Glen was born February 27, 1944, in Chicago, the son of Dale and Irene (Polley) Wright. He married Marilyn Kier on July 9, 1966 in Shelbyville. He was a Decorated United States Army Vietnam Veteran where he served as an airplane inspector. He later was a combine mechanic for John Deere. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Glen enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Findlay; children: Dale (Lori) Wright of Beaufort, MO, Michelle (Bill) Melody of Rolla, MO, Sherri (Donnie) Dodson of Blytheville, AR and Amanda Brooks of Blue Springs, MO; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, James Askins of Cowden and sister, Dalene (John) Geisinger of Shelbyville.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, his stepfather and one sister.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Findlay. Graveside services will be held at Findlay Cemetery on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with military rites by the American Legion of Findlay.
