WORTHINGTON, Minn. - Phyllis Jean Henderson, 82, Worthington, died Sunday, Oct. 29, in Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 10:30 a.m, Wednesday, Nov. 1, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington. The Pastor Mark Schreiber will officiate. Burial will be in Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Phyllis Jean Henderson, age 82, was born the daughter of Alvin (Barney) Fox and Esther (Johnson) Fox on October 13, 1935, in Livermore, IA.
Phyllis graduated from the secretarial program of Hamilton Business College in Mason City, IA, where she also met her husband Bill. Phyllis was united in marriage to William (Bill) Henderson on November 24, 1954. They moved to Thornton, IA in 1956 and in 1964 they moved to Worthington, MN, where she continued to raise her family, enjoyed golf and later worked as a switchboard operator at Avera Specialty Clinic for 29 years, retiring in 2001.
Phyllis and Bill enjoyed taking bus trips, spending time with family, watching Wheel of Fortune and her Minnesota Twins (Twinkies).
Phyllis died on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the Sanford Worthington Medical Center in Worthington, MN with her family by her side.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 62 years, three daughters, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Esther.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington, MN, with Pastor Mark Schreiber officiating. Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
