Jerry Lee Henson, 82, of 530 Alamo Street died Monday, October 30, 2017.
A native of Union County, he was the son of the late Joseph Freeman and Victoria Worley Henson. He was a member of Enoree First Freewill Baptist Church, a U.S.Army Veteran and was a retired service station attendant.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Giles Henson of the home; two sons, Larry Henson of Spartanburg and Donnie Henson of Frederick, Maryland; three sisters, Linda Rush of Spartanburg, Julia Green of Moore and Nancy Wilson of Miami, Florida; 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Henson Bragg Godfrey.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Enoree First Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-12:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
The family is at the home of his sister, Linda Rush, 11 Willow Run Terrace, Spartanburg.
