After a long fight with a terminal illness, a beautiful soul departed from this life on October 28, 2017. Michelle Olivia Stephens was born on October 14, 1978 in Marshall, Texas. She resided in Marshall all 39 years of her life.
Michelle is survived by her loving and beloved family; her husband, Michael Stephens; their two children, Jordan Stephens and Kyndal Stephens; and her brother, Harold McCarty. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dovie Allene McCarty and her grandmother, Dovie Rose Richardson.
Michelle’s character was one of tenderness and loving kindness. When she was able, she so enjoyed doing little thoughtful acts of kindness that meant so much to others. Those that knew her and loved her will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Michelle’s life on Wednesday, November 01, 2017, at 2 PM in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, TX.
