Lori was committed to helping others improve their lives with better health and environmentally-friendly products. She worked as a nutritional consultant and developed a Shaklee business over the course of almost thirty years during which time she received numerous awards for her business success. Lori greatly enjoyed the outdoors, being on the beach and swimming in the lake with her friends, family and dog, Lady J. Lori was a warm and caring person with a quick smile who was loved by many for her lively spirit.
Lori is survived by her husband, Dan Helbing; a son, Nathan Russell of Cambridge, Mass.; her father, Shorty Shoemaker of Lake Mills; a sister, Sandi (Curt) Jensen of Sun Prairie; her brothers, Scot Radloff of Mass.; Thomas (Marcia) Radloff of Watertown; Timothy (Kristina) Levonyan Radloff of New York; her step-son, Matthew (Lisa) Helbing and their children, Henry and Theodore, of Lawrence, Kansas; nieces, Stacee, Heather, Samantha, Stephanie, Justine, and Amanda; and nephews, David, Jacob, Alex and León; as well as other extended relatives and many dear friends. And her two good friends, Lady J and Lizzie.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Hartwig.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 24th, at 11 a.m. at the Watertown Moravian Church with the Rev. Barbara Berg presiding. Burial will be in the Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills following a luncheon at the church.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather to share memories of Lori at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Thursday, August 23rd, from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
In remembrance of Lori, memorial contributions may be made to either the Watertown or Dane County Humane Society. The Hafemeister Funeral Home of Watertown is in charge of arrangements.
