Richard M. Kay, died here Monday
Richard M. Kay, 70, of Mountain Home died Monday at Baxter General Hospital.
The son of James S. and Anna Finley Kay, he was born in Seacliff, Long Island, Feb. 3, 1906.
Mr. Kay married the former June E. Hofsas in Lake Geneva, Wisc., Aug. 19, 1933.
A resident of this area for three years, Mr. Kay moved here from Round Lake, Ill, where he was employed as an electrical forman [sic/foreman] for the International Harvester Corp.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Richard J. Kay of Grayslake, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Norman of Round Lake, Ill.; Mrs. Harriet Proschwitz of Round Lake, Ill.; and Mrs. Olive Dunworth of Seal Beach, Calif.; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother [George William Kay].
Funeral services for Mr. Kay were held today (Thursday) at the Strang Funeral Home Chapel in Grayslake, Ill., with Rev. Lyle Kauffmann of the Calvary Presbyterian Church of Round Lake, Ill. officiating. Private burial services were at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Chicago, Ill.
LeFevers Colonial Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Kay was a member of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge 115, AF & AM of Grayslake, Ill.
