AGE 94 YEARS
Helen Marie French, of Wellsboro, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was the widow of Earl E. French, whom she shared over 62 years of marriage. Helen was the daughter of the late, Andrew Doty and Alice Marie (Hamlin) Houck.
Helen was a member of the Wheeler United Methodist Church, Wheeler, NY. She had a strong work ethic as she worked alongside her husband at French’s Auto, their family owned business. Helen was a true homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her little “kiddies”.
Known for her perseverance and positive outlook on life, even during the hardships, Helen’s motto was, “you do what you gotta do.”
Helen’s committal service and burial will be held, following services. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Bath National Cemetery in Bath, NY.
