Cathy Lynn Bell, 53 of Arkadelphia, AR went to be with her heavenly father on October 28, 2017 after a brave fight with cancer.

She was born November 11, 1963. Cathy was a kind, loving, Christian whose main goal in life was to bring glory to God’s name in all that she did. Cathy was a 1986 graduate of Henderson State University where she later went on to work for 26 years. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.

Cathy loved spending time with family especially her two girls. Cathy was a great friend and her friends quickly became family. Cathy was an inspiration to all those around her. She fought cancer with dignity, grace, and above all faith that God would use her story for His glory. Cathy was preceded in death by her grandparents Brodie and Lorene Bivens, and Willie and Georgia Mae Joiner, and her father Wallace Joiner.

She was preceded in death by her father, to Wallace Bell.

Cathy is survived her mother Clara Bivens-Joiner; her daughters, Lindsey Crowder and husband Michael and Mallory Bagwell and husband Brett; her brother, Bruce Joiner and wife Jolene; her sister, Sharon Hearnsberger and husband Terry; her nieces,l Beth Jones (Brian), Leah Seale (James), Stacy Hearnsberger, Mandy Lane (Corrie) and Sarah Jane Bell; her nephews, Chris Cuellar, Reid Joiner, Jay Cox (Heather), Greg Cox (Karen), and Josh Bell (Kelly); and her great nieces and nephews, Malek, Morgan, Brantley, Denver, Laila, Michaelina, Zayde, Colt, Dillon, Lily Bea, and Reece.

The funeral services will be held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Marvin Pate officiating. Her interment services jwill be in Degray Cemetery.
