Shawnee – Thelma Lee Harrelson Morgan, 93, passed away October 27, 2017 at Effingham Care Center following a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Henry K. Harrelson and Ollie Zipperer Harrelson, and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leonell Morgan. Ms. Morgan was preceded in death by her 2 sons, R.L. Morgan and Eugene Morgan, and her daughter-in-law, Linda Neidlinger Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her 2 grandchildren, Nicki Morgan Larango and Theron Morgan, both children of Eugene, a great-granddaughter, Morgan Grace Harris, and her 4 sisters, Ida Mae Long, Edell Edwards, Midred Kennedy, and Anabel Lincoln.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Corinth Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Morgan was a lifelong member of the Corinth Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully. Remembrances may be given in her memory to the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
