Laura grew up and attended Skyview State School #30 in Mountain Grove. She enjoyed different hobbies, especially drawing and coloring. She loved to draw and color pictures for people. Laura also enjoyed nature and birds. Her favorite bird was the red cardinal. She was an avid baseball fan and loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals. Her most memorable outing she always talked about was being able to attend a Springfield Cardinals game.
Laura was saved and baptized at a young age and remained faithful throughout her life. She enjoyed attending church and the fellowship with everyone. Laura had a great love for Jesus and was always sure to tell others about His saving grace. She wanted to share Jesus' love with everyone she met. She was an angel who truly had a pure and wholesome spirit that will be dearly missed.
Laura's parents and one sister, Janell (Shaw) Milton preceded Laura in death.
Laura is survived by six brothers, Steve Shaw and wife, Susie, of Cuba, Missouri, Glenn Burch and wife, Carrie, of Mountain Grove, Eddie Burch and wife, Belinda, of Springfield, Missouri, Gary Burch of Joplin, Missouri, Ron Shaw and wife, Connie, of Cabool, Missouri, and Richard Shaw of Colorado; five sisters, Sharon Brown and husband, Scott, of Lebanon, Missouri, Norma Burch of Joplin, Missouri, Wanda Noel of Mountain Grove, Linda Shaw of Mountain Grove, and LaVonna Smith of Springfield, Missouri. Laura is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved and admired her dearly as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
