Millie was born in Endicott NY to Walter & Elizabeth Weber.
She worked at Endicott Johnson shoe factory in Endicott, New York. She was a homemaker and wife of John (Jack) Kennedy. After Jack passed away in 2004, she moved from Florida to Harrisburg, to be closer to her family. She was a long time member of St. Margaret Mary's church. She loved cooking, reading, being with family, eating out, her soap operas and Wheel of Fortune. Born and raised in the country, she said you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. Mom (Gram) will be greatly missed by her family.
Millie is survived by her son, John Patrick Kennedy and wife Joy of North Carolina; her daughters, Debra Blackburn and her husband Steven Speece of Dauphin and Nina Intrieri and husband Donald of Harrisburg; Sister Helen Axford of California and Bonnie White of California, many nieces and nephews; 7 Grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; Preceded in death by her husband John, two brothers and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 3 P.M. at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg. The Rev. Paul Helwig will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with her husband, at the convenience of the family. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 3 P.M. at the church, prior to the Mass. Arrangements are by the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Harrisburg.
