Mikey Allen “Mike” Sherer, 65, Ridgeway, MO, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017.
     He was born October 29, 1951 in Worth County, Missouri the son of Allen and LaVesta (House) Sherer.
     On July 18, 1971, he married Linda Osmon. To this union, one son, Brad, was born.
     Mike graduated from Grant City High School in 1969. He ran a dozer for several years before moving to De Smet, South Dakota where he was a feed lot operator. Upon returning to Missouri, he continued farming until his death.
     He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, teasing people, farming, country music shows and the Fort Worth, Texas cattle drives.
     Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Saundra Campbell and Becky Morin; grandparents, Hoyt and Velma House and Roy and Minnie Sherer; father and mother-in-law, Garvin and Emma Osmon and niece, Stephanie Osmon.
     Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda; son, Brad (Tara) Sherer, Ridgeway, MO; grandchildren, Kaylee Sherer, Albany, MO, Gaige Sherer, Ridgeway, MO, Dylan (Claire Andrews) Hobbs, Ridgeway, MO and Brendan Moutray, Gardner, KS; great-grandchildren, Kane Dean and Havok Hobbs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Joan Osmon, Albany, MO, Dean and Darlene Osmon, Butch and Rhonda Osmon, Randy and Cheryl Osmon, Rhonda and Jack Dube and Ron and Rita Osmon all of Bethany, MO and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
