Phelps, Michael Dale, 61, passed away October 28, 2017. He was a member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865, worked for Atlas Machine and Supply, and was an avid skeet shooter.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Ernest "Wade" Phelps; mother, America Newman; stepfather, Otis Newman; sisters, Ann Juarez and Norma Williams; and brother, Tommy Phelps.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia Phelps; siblings, Ernest Phelps (Blanche), Ruth Mercer and Jerry Phelps (Marquetta); sister-in-law, Betty Phelps; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
