Charles Maurice Hyde was born into this world in 1945 and left it on October 26, 2017, to enter into his heavenly home, prepared for him by his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Maurice is predeceased by his parents G.D. and Ann Hyde, grandparents Charles and Jennie Hardman, Aunt Mary Hardman, and niece Susan Hyde and nephew Jerrel Hyde.
He is survived by his wife Nedra; daughters Jana Hyde and Deborah Jones; son-in-law Dave Jones; granddaughter Bethany Jones Baird and her husband Craig; grandson Trey Jones and his wife Caroline; eldest brother David Hyde and his wife Barbara; twin brother Michael Hyde and his wife Denise; as well as niece Vicki Englehardt and nephews David, Michael, and Jerrel Wayne Hyde.
Maurice spent his entire life in the Dallas metroplex, except for the time he spent in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, during which he was awarded a Purple Heart for his sacrificial service. In Dallas he worked at East Texas Motor Freight and later Tom Thumb before his early retirement as a result of his wartime injuries.
Maurice is dearly loved and already greatly missed by his family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 3:00PM to 4:30PM at Restland Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11:15AM.
