Joshua Walter Watson, 28, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Friday December 26, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, William S. "Shannon" Watson.

Joshua was a member of Grace Family Church. He loved his family, his friends and cars.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Lisa and Wesley Geary; brothers and sisters, Maria Watson (Will), Michael Nichols (Bethany), Olivia Sarver, Jonathan Case; stepsister, Jordan Geary; stepbrother, Justin Geary; grandparents, Norman and Juanita Webster, Grace and Lacy Johnson; niece, Alanah; nephew, Greylin; special friends, Michelle Critzer, William Nichols, Chasity Shifflett; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; furry best friend "Sissy".

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Pastor Tommy FiGart officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Life Center of Galax, 112 Painter St, PO Box 27, Galax VA 24333.
