Keith "B" Jacobs, age 86, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away late Thursday afternoon, October 26, 2017, at McKinley Manor in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Keith "B" Jacobs, age 86, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed
away late Thursday afternoon, October 26, 2017, at McKinley
Manor in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Keith "Jake" was born June 15, 1931, in Lansing, Michigan to
the late Vaughn and Eula (Swix) Jacobs. Keith graduated from
DeWitt, Michigan, class of 1948. He married Ruby M Steele on
October 14, 1989, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Keith served his
country in the United States Navy from 1950 until his retirement
on July 7, 1971, as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, Radioman. His
second retirement came in 1991 after 22 years of service, at the
International Bridge. Keith was a long term member of the Soo
Elks Club & Barbeau Lions Club. He belonged to the Sault Ste
Marie Golf Club and enjoyed his time there with many friends in
the Elks league. He loved his family, friends, fishing, hunting,
playing cards, and dice, his favorite activity in retirement was golf
and traveling. He was always telling jokes and trying to make
people laugh. His last few years have been spent at McKinley
Manor where he was always treated with kindness, care, dignity, and love. Special thanks to all that have touched his/our lives during his time there.
Keith is survived by his wife: Ruby M Jacobs and his
children: Kathy (Mike) Franklin, Scott Jacobs, and Brenda
(Randy) Fike all of Sturgeon Bay, WI; Step-children: Louise
Steele and Faye Dumback (Cliff Yaney) of Sault Ste. Marie, MI,
Cathy Steele (Paul Linscott) of Oxford, ME. Grandchildren:
Evonne (Aaron) LaCrosse, Jason McLeod (Jessica Zastrow)
Garrett Franklin, Jeff Jacobs, Forest Jacobs (Micaela Grosbeier),
Brian (Jennifer) McLeod, Keona (Andy) Stuth, and Salina Brown.
Step-grandchildren: Heather Bumstead, Tiffany Bumstead,
Stephanie Bumstead, Mandy (Joe) McLean, Lisa (Marty)
Jacobson, Brian (Maleah) Dumback, Nicole Dumback, Carrie
(Nick) Faloon, and Nick DeLuge; and 37 great-grandchildren, also
his brother Duane, (Ila) Jacobs of Cadillac, MI, and sister Vedah
McAllister of Lansing and his brother-in-laws Kim (Kathy) Nault
of Republic, MI, and David (Treesa) Nault of Marquette, MI. &
many Nieces and Nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, brother V.E.
(Cathy) Jacobs, sister Ellen (Dean) Allen, brother-in-law Norman
McAllister and his in-laws Clarence and Della (Brown) Nault of
Ishpeming, MI.
Friends and family may gather for a memorial from 10:00 a.m.
at C.S Mulder Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, till
the time of Military service that will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor
Bill Lockhart Officiating. Memorials may be left to McKinley
