Karen Kay Carlson was the daughter of Martin Kenneth Kindelberger and Edith Florence "Flo" (nee Snyder) Kindelberger Ross. She took her stepfather's surname, Ross.
CARLSON, Kay Kay Carlson 71, a longtime resident of the Antelope Valley peacefully passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home in Lancaster, Calif. She was born on Jan. 15, 1945 in Antioch, Calif. One of very few women during the time, Kay worked in the Aerospace industry as an engineer for 21 years. Kay is survived by her siblings, Karla, Ron and Scott, daughters Karla, Karen, Lisa, and Kelli, her grandchildren, Ashlie, Tony, Mandi, Zachary, Luke and Nathan, and her great - grandchildren, Madilyn, Lily and Matthew. Kay was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Ross and her brother, Kerry. A caring soul, Kay was very funny, and enjoyed laughing and making others laugh with her. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be performed by her Pastor John Meadors at Christian Life Assembly Church on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in Kay's name to the Christian Life.
