Edith Lee Barnett, age 92, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017. Born January 22, 1925, she was the youngest child of Richard Marvin and Mary Bell Bennett Lee. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Sarah Lee Coleman, Frank (Pete) Lee, and Mary Claire Lee Edwards.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Don) Barnett Hinson of Frankin, TN, and Ann Barnett of Smyrna; and sons, Lee (Terri) Barnett of Smyrna and Marvin (Dawn) Barnett of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Donna (David) Hinson Jackson, Jamie (Joy) Hinson, and Michelle Barnett; great-grandchildren, Will and Elizabeth Jackson, and James, Julia, and Josie Hinson.

Mrs. Barnett was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church in Smyrna. She was a Civil Service employee at Sewart Air Base in Smyrna and at the Tennessee Air National Guard at Berry Field retiring with 30 years of service. She was also the owner of Family Affair Caterers in Smyrna for over 25 years.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. A graveside service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Mapleview Cemetery. Brother Dan Parker will officiate.
