Nancy J. Atkins, 81, of Claysville, died Thursday, October 26, 2017, in The Grove at Washington.

She was born October 20, 1936, in East Finley, a daughter of the late Willis "Buck" Clutter and Melzia Ealy Clutter.

Mrs. Atkins was a graduate of Claysville High School. She was a homemaker who loved to play bingo and enjoyed board games.

She was a former member of East Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

Her husband, Harry Atkins, died in 1984.

Surviving are three children, Barbara L. (Dan) Bergles of Claysville, Jeffrey A. Mounts of Orlando, Florida, and John D. (Carrie) Mounts of Washington; six brothers, Leo Clutter of Washington, John (Irene) Clutter of Cleveland, Ohio, Roy (Sue) Clutter of Sycamore, George (Barb) Clutter of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Larry (Joan) Clutter of Willow Grove, and Reed Clutter of Prosperity; one sister, Lena Taylor of Washington; 15 grandchildren, Nick White, Michelle McDonald, Meagan Brooks, Brittany Blevins, Nicole Miles, Daniel Bergles II, Joshua Bergles, Beau Bergles, Jacob Mounts, Alex Mounts, Cassie Holden, Jonathan Holden, Tracey Smith, Jason Mounts, and Tiffany Mounts; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Donna J. Mounts Miles, and siblings, Lucille Katsaros, Margaret Amon, Willis Clutter, Louis Clutter, Fred Clutter and Raymond Clutter.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 31st. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Washington Cemetery.
