SOUTH BEND - South Bend - Mr. Andrew D. Lee, 75, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Memorial Hospital with his family at his side.

Andrew was born in Vance, Mississippi, November 28, 1941 to the late Demyers and Stella (Hunt) Lee. Andrew was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rasha Foster; brother, Kenneth Lee; brother-in-law, Jimmie Sigh; and sister, Lillie Lee.

On June 29, 1991, in South Bend, Andrew married his loving wife Jackie (Love) Lee, she survives along with his; step-mother, Frances Lee; daughters, Galinda (Joe) Taylor, Ericka N. Lee, Ebony Lee, Tina M. (Charles) Miller, Shaunta Foster, all of South Bend, and Traci Dearmond of Detroit, MI; sons, Troy Lee, Andrew Lee Jr., and Darren (Andrea) Lee, all of South Bend and Benny Frazier of Elkhart; sisters, Lovie Coleman of St. Louis, MO, Tossie Sigh of Riverdale, GA and Janice (Edward) Warren of South Bend; brothers, Anthony (Germaine) Lee of South Bend and Edward Johnson of Benton Harbor, MI; 43 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In the early 90's, he gave his life to Christ at Charity Temple under the leadership of Pastor Prentis Lewis. He also attended New Life Fellowship Ministry under the leadership of Apostle Charles E. Harris, Sr. for over 20 years.

Andrew was a truck driver for Ritschard Brothers Inc. retiring in 2006 after 30 years. He was a member of the St. Joe Valley U.S.B.C. Association. Andrew enjoyed praying and reading his Bible. He also was an avid bowler with Gethsemane Men's Team and he was known for receiving his bowling ring after scoring a 300 game. Andrew also enjoyed spending time in his “man cave”. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family including grand-children and great- grandchildren.

A Wake for Mr. Andrew Lee will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Friday, November 3, 2017 at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 101 N. Adams St., South Bend, Indiana 46628 where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
