Of Nokesville, VA, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 under hospice care at the home of his son, Keith Mitchell, in Georgetown, TX. Jimmie is survived by his sons, Keith Mitchell and James Mitchell as well as his grandchildren, Sean Mitchell and Megan Mitchell. He was predeceased by his wife, Regina; his father, Lonnie Mitchell, and his mother, Grace Mitchell. A Memorial Service will take place at the US Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis, MD at 10 a.m. on Friday November 4, 2016. Following the service, his cremated remains will be placed next to those of his wife Regina in the Columbarium of the US Naval Academy Cemetery.
