Bynum, Alonzo L. b.1877 (mar.Mattie Johnson b.1886 d.1911) d.1940-Obit-FAG Death-1940 Oct 29-Alonzo L. Bynum of Houston, Texas, a former resident of the Good Hope community, died at the St. Joseph's Hosp. in Houston, age 62, yesterday morning, following a two weeks illness. Mr. Bynum was a resident of the county for many years and moved to Houston shortly after his wife's death in 1911. He was known here by his friends as Lon Bynum. The body was shipped by train to Wynne, and was brought by Stevens FH this morning. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mr. Bynum is survived by two daughters, one of Kilgore, Texas and another who lives in Shreveport, La.; and one son, of Little Rock. Oct.30-Services today for Lon Bynum at the Hughes cemetery by Rev. R. S. Hayden of the First Methodist Church.
