James “Jim” Woody, 90, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Devoted husband to the late Regina Woody for 70 years. Loving father to Gail (Gloria) Woody and Linda (Mike) Courter; cherished grandfather to Lea (Chris) Dibrell, Heather Davenport, Erin Woody, and Brian (Christina) Courter; treasured great-grandfather Sydney, Jake, Kellis, and Teddy; dear uncle and friend to many.

James proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. Jim was known for his story telling talents and never met a stranger. Jim was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 29 years and served as a Eucharistic Minister. His friendly personality made him a natural salesman and he put this skill to use as an car salesman for more than 30 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
