Alexander A. Swartz passed away Sat. March 13, 2010.

He was a life long area resident, and proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Anthony Swartz; uncle, Frank Swartz; he leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Ann Marie; loving daughter, Pauline Grasso; granddaughters, Kimberly Ann (Sam) Gailbreath and Jennifer Lyn (Gregg) Sterling; grandson, Kip Alexander Kouri; great-granddaughters, Alexandra Ray, Hannah Sterling, Ella Ann Sterling and newly born Sofia Mae Gailbreath; sisters-in-law, Nettie (Leonard) Buzzelli and Cetta (Chuck) Wintrow; brother-in-law, Joe Pileggi; many nieces, nephews and loving cousins.

A special thanks to the Rev. Michael Shaub and to Hospice of Summa for all the care, comfort and guidance. Thank you also to Dr. Kanter, Sharon Hoffman, Stephanie, Paula, and a very special thanks to Fr. Rosing, who came to the house!

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, where V.F.W. Firestone Post 3383 will conduct military honors. The family suggest memorials to Hospice of Summa
