He graduated from St. Agatha High School. Jim retired from Eastern Airlines at Miami International Airport. He had also worked for the Erie Railroad and Bowler Jewelry in Meadville as a watchmaker.
He was a member of the Linesville First Baptist Church. Jim had a great love for the Lord, read his Bible daily and shared his faith with everyone he met.
Suriviors include his loving wife of 68 years; 11 children; 36 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Joyce Anderson, Thomas King and his wife, Gerry, Lawrence King, Judy Luckey and her husband, John, and Paul King and his wife, Judi; many nieces and nephews; and their church family at Linesville First Baptist Church.
