"WELL KNOWN RESIDENT OF TRIUMPH PASSES AWAY - Mrs Peter Gustafson Held in High Esteem by Many Friends in That Vicinity - Mrs Lena Engdahl Gustafson, well known resident of Triumph, passed away at her home yesterday at about noon following an illness of about a year. Mrs Gustafson was born in Sweden on July 9, 1863, so was 66 years of age. She came to this country when a young girl locating in the vicinity of Triumph. She was married to Peter Gustafson soon after coming to this country and spent practically her entire married life in the vicinity where she passed away. Mrs Gustafson was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church at Triumph, was a kind and loving wife and mother and held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. Besides the husband, the deceased is survived by the following children: Oscar Gustafson of Wellsville, NY; Gust Gustafson of Cleveland, O; Frank and John Gustafson at home; Harry and Theodore Gustafson, Mrs Mable Rhodes, Mrs Roy Bloom and Mrs Jean Linder, all of Titusville and Mayme at home. Arrangements for funeral services will be announced later." (Titusville Herald, July 27, 1929, p.3)

"Funeral services in memory of Mrs Peter Gustafson will be conducted from the Triumph Lutheran church, this (Monday) afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time, and the interment will be made in the church cemetery."
