Mr. Midari was a railroad section employee, unmarried who likely was admitted soon after his release from the Flathead County Jail as he is seen in their records three times between 1948 and 1950. At least one charge was for drunkenness. It appears he arrived from Japan in 1903, at age 20, passing through ports in British Columbia and Seattle before arriving in Imperial, California. He lived in Los Angeles until at least 1930 working as a laborer, including as a gardener. He registered for the WWII draft while living in Los Angeles. He was later interred during WWII at the Heart Mountain camp in Wyoming from 23 Aug 1942 to 26 Sep 1945 and headed from there to Whitefish, Montana.

His name in records is spelled both Midari and Midori with the latter apparently being the original and his DOB in one record is 5 Jan 1882.
