Dorothy E. Romero, 87, passed away Oct. 24, 2017.
She was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Avondale, Colo., to Agustine Algien and Flora Autobee Algien, who preceded her in death; along with her beloved husband, Joe D. Romero; daughter, Karen Romero; and other family members.
She loved her patron saint, St. Rita, and was very devoted to her faith.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching wrestling and the Denver Broncos. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Gary (Rebecca) Romero, Samuel (Norma) Romero, Yvonne Maldonado, Leonard (Cecilia) Romero, Kenneth Romero, Sandra Romero, Ronald Romero, Father Michael Romero, Richard (JoAnn) Romero, Lynette Romero and James (Betty) Romero; 35 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grand-children, 25 step-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to Dr. Chad Hess and staff for 30 years of great care and service given to Dorothy.
