GREENWICH, N.Y. — Charles H. Weir, age 90, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24th 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 27th 1926 in Easton, N.Y., he was the son of the late John and Rosalie (Genter) Weir.

He loved his wife; Joan (Kelly) Weir cooking. They were married for over 61 years.

He was a true patriot, enlisting in the United States Army in 1946 just as World War II was in its last days.

He worked at H&V in Clarks Mills, N.Y. for over 30 years.

He loved to feed and watch his birds in the backyard, watch cars go by and take naps in his favorite chair.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers; Benjamin Weir, Ernest Weir, Ivan Weir. and John "Bud" Weir, and one sister; Rosalie Jennings.

Arrangements by the Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home on 80 Main Street in Greenwich, N.Y.

Burial will follow the service at 2:30 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Duell Road in Schuylerville, N.Y.
