Funeral services for Betty Jean Parker will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Reverend Greg Willis officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Betty, 73, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in her residence with her family by her side. She was born August 9, 1944 in Oakdale to the union of David Addison “Add” Parker and Agnes (Willis) Parker.

After 43 years, she retired from First Federal Bank of Oakdale. She was a special seamstress. Betty loved her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Add and Agnes Parker; her brother, William David Parker; and special cousin, Mark Willis.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: one aunt, Julie Strother of Oakdale; one uncle, Andrew Willis; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Pat Laird, PJ Laird, Darrell Willis, Rayford Welch, Gilbert Willis, Jr., and James Parker.

Visitation will be held in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., then on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 8 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. in the chapel.
