Services for Felipe (Phillip) V. Palomares Sr., 80, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Santa Teresa Catholic Church.
The Rev. Albert Ruiz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Palomares died Monday at Sheridan in College Station.
He was born in El Refugio, Qro., Mexico, and lived in Bryan for 50 years. He was the founder and retired owner of Palomares Construction Co.

Mr. Palomares was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus No. 1834. He was a past president of the Santo Nobre at Santa Teresa Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gabriela Palomares of Bryan; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jessie and Cindy Palomares of Chriesman and Phillip V. Palomares Jr. and Oscar and Mary Palomares, all of Bryan; three daughters and a son-in-law, Concha Palomares and Teresa Palomares, both of Bryan, and Dolores and Rick Acco of Las Vegas; a brother, Lupe Palomares of Rio Bravo, Mexico; five sisters, Margarita Banda of Magnolia, Flodia Garcia of Houston, Natalia Sanches of Humble, Jesus Loya of Deer Park and Candelaria Jiminez of Rio Bravo, Mexico; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Santa Teresa Catholic Church Building Fund.
