Virgil Americo DiTrapano, 68, of Charleston died June 3, 2011, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luigi and Amelia DiTrapano; in-laws, Jack and Irene Linville; nephew, Lidano DiTrapano; and brother-in-Law, William McGoldrick. He was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways. He attended Charleston Catholic High School, Greenbrier Military Academy, and was a graduate of Miller Academy in Charlottesville, Va. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, vacations, and riding his Harley. He was an avid WVU and Pittsburgh Steelers football fan. Surviving: daughter, Angela Sizemore (John) Kerr; son, Tony (Jan) DiTrapano; granddaughter, Amelia Sizemore; brother, Rudy (Martha) DiTrapano; sisters, Carla McGoldrick and Evelyn DiTrapano, former wife Peggy Linville.
