Little Miss Etta May Sullivan, 13 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sullivan, of near White Oak, Stafford county, succumbed to injuries received in a runaway Saturday evening, about three hours following the accident. The little girl was riding in a wagon with her sister, Miss Amy Sullivan, and when they attempted to turn around the coupling pin snapped causing the wagon to come apart. The little girl was thrown from the wagon and became entangled in the reins. The frightened horse ran away and dragged the child for a distance of about 100 yards, which resulted in crushing her skull and causing other painful injuries to her body. The girl died at 8:30 p.m.

Little Miss Sullivan is survived by her parents, five brothers, Riley, Clifford, Melvin, Ellsworth, Henry, Jr., and one sister, Miss Amy Sullivan.

The funeral took place from Church of God Chapel near her home on Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by
Rev. L. H. Crawford, of Washington.
