She was the owner and operator of Helen’s Beauty Salon and was employed by Westinghouse. Helen was Methodist by faith. She was a caretaker for many people.
Helen is survived by her husband, Hubert Junior Grubb; two sisters, Mary Janet Kennedy of Monumental and Thelma Wolfe and husband Ronald of Loveland, OH; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, James and John Hurt and a sister, Frances McKiney.
Per her request, there will be no public viewing or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
