Eugene Lewis, 64, of Cox's Creek, died Wednesday Oct. 25, 2017, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born May 9, 1953, in Taylorsville, a retired farmer and truck driver, and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Beulah Lewis.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathy Lewis; one daughter, Raina Lewis of Cox's Creek; one son, William Lewis of Cox's Creek; two sisters, Roseann Adcock of Taylorsville and Theresa Mae Hilbert of Wakefield; three brothers, Roy Lewis and Earl Lewis both of Bardstown, and John Lewis of Bloomfield; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at Mill Creek Baptist Church, with burial in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin with Bro. Ray Johnson officiating. Visitation is noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, and 9-10:15 a.m. Monday at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go toward his funeral service. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
