Mrs. Fowler was born in West Springs, SC August 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Harley D. Heatherly and Geneva Henson Heatherly. She retired from Milliken & Company – Monarch Plant and had previously worked at Ottaray Plant. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two granddaughters: Laura F. Watson and husband Trenton of St. Louis, MO and Elizabeth F. Thompson and husband Josh of Spartanburg; a daughter-in-law, Karen M. Fowler of Buffalo; two brothers: Ed Heatherly and wife Carol and Martin Heatherly; a sister-in-law, Deanna Heatherly all of Buffalo; four great-grandchildren: Caleb F. Thompson, R. Tate Thompson, Simon D. Watson and Ruby B. Watson. Mrs. Fowler was predeceased by a son, Darrell D. Fowler.
