Hillsdale, MI - Matthew Orrin "Matt" Weber of Hillsdale, Michigan passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Hillsdale County. He was born October 1, 1970 in Ypsilanti, Michigan the son of Ernest and Dorothy (Whittimore) Weber.
Matt is survived by his wife, Amy Weber, whom he married on October 24, 2009 and their five year old son, Jonah. He is also survived by one sister, Rebekah (Michael) Friedhoff of Belleville, MI and other family members such as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, George and Aldema (Fisk) Weber and maternal grandparents, Connie and Pearl Jenkins.
Matt worked at Hillsdale College in the I.T. Department as a Web-Developer and prior to that he worked at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan in their I.T. Department. He attended College Baptist Church in Hillsdale and he enjoyed photography, camping, computers and problem solving. He was a very loving husband and father who will be missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service to honor the life of Matthew Orrin "Matt" Weber will be held at College Baptist Church in Hillsdale, on Saturday, October 28th beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ben Cuthbert officiating. At his request cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and also on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
