Bonnie Harmon

OTTUMWA – Bonnie L. Harmon, 63, of 320 W. Keota died at 1:40 a.m. March 8, 2002, in University Hospitals in Iowa City.

She was born Jan. 12, 1939, in Ottumwa to Otto and Florence Jones Harmon.

She lived in Ottumwa all of her life except 1963-90 when she lived in Sugar Creek and Raytown, Mo. She was a caregiver for the elderly.

She is survived by sons Harold “Sparky” Eads of Sugar Creek, Mo., and Jim Eads of Lees Summitt, Mo.; four grandchildren; sisters Marcene Wilbur of Ottumwa and Judy Werremeyer of Moscow; and a brother, Bill Harmon of Bridgeport, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Eads.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. Kendall Holder officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
