Dorothy K. Koch-Morgan, 96, died Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg, Illinois. Dorothy was a resident of Springfield all her life until the last two months.

She was born on January 2, 1921, to Vaughn Lake and Katherine Bachhelm Lake who preceded her in death. She married Frank J. (Bud) Koch who preceded her in 1970, and later married H. Robert Morgan, who also preceded her in death. She was the third of five sisters of which three have preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Ronald J. Koch (Martha) of Phoenix, AZ, sister Theresa Guiney of Sun City, AZ, two grandchildren, Robert J. Koch (Sheri) of Springfield, IL and Amy E. Schifferdecker (Rodd) of Scottsdale, AZ, two great grandchildren, Katelyn and Cole Schifferdecker of Scottsdale, AZ and several nieces and one nephew.

Graveside Service: 11 am, Friday, October 27, 2017 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Wayne P. Hoffman Officiating.
