Bonham-Jennifer Lynn Henning Thornton, age 41, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 20, 2017. Jennifer lost her fight with cancer after almost 10 years of extremely painful and courageous fighting. She was born in this world but not of it. Jen graduated from Langham Creek High School in 1994. She then attended TBI in Columbus, TX to study her favorite subject-JESUS!
She leaves behind loving and devoted husband Chad Thornton, mother and step father, Richard and Donalyn Henning-Pickel; sister, Bree Walker and husband Chris and niece Hailey and nephew Brandon; and sister, Tiffany Smith-Price and nieces Lacy and Jamie; her in-laws David and Diana Green, brothers-in-law, Corey and Austin Green, and very special nephew Cameron Green. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, as well as her 3 horses Mercy, Dixie, and Dallas along with her dogs Tucker and J.P. Jennifer will be greatly missed by all that she leaves behind.
Jennifer was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Andrew Craig Green and cousin, Andrew Steven Jones as well as 4 legged best friends Finley and Bud.
A memorial ceremony will be held at her favorite spot on the Red River on Saturday, October 28, 2017 around 3:00pm.
