Shirley departed this life on Monday, October 23, 2017, at her home at the age of 78. The daughter of Wheeler Coleman and Muriel (Page) Coleman was born January 2, 1939, at their family home near Paden, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her children and spouses; brothers and spouses; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Jimmie, in 1984; her infant daughter, Jamie Lynn Blankenship in 1973; and her parents.
A Celebration of the Life of Shirley Ann Blankenship will be 10 a.m., Friday, October 27, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday 12-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Surayya Anne Foundation, P.O. Box 33202, Tulsa, OK 74153.
