Frank “Duane” Steele, 88, of Springdale, passed away on October 24, 2017 in Holiday Island.
He was born on July 30, 1929 to Samuel and Pearl (Bolinger) Steele in Wharton, Arkansas.

Duane married Donna Harger on May 20, 1951 and they would go on to celebrate 66 wonderful years together.

Duane was a well known barber in Springdale for many years. He loved a good deal, a good meal and a good visit. He was a member of Grace Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville and enjoyed being part of his church family. Duane never met a stranger and always made people feel at ease with his unique sense of humor. During the Korean War, Duane was stationed in Japan.
