Mr. Alexander was a native of Wayne, Neb. He lived in Merced 39 years. He was an agricultural biologist. He was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He belonged to the Applegate Grange and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Merced.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, his parents and three sisters.
